Attorney Richard A. Fanucci is a 1989 graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law where he received his Jurist Doctorate Degree.  He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Scranton in 1985 and is a 1980 graduate of Valley View High School. As a practicing attorney for nearly 29 years, he owns and operates the Law Offices of Richard A. Fanucci, located in Blakely, Pennsylvania.

 

Attorney Fanucci has extensive experience in the areas of municipal and school law, commercial and residential real estate, zoning, land development, business and employment law and many areas of general civil litigation.  He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the US District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

 

 

During his career, he has served as Solicitor and general counsel to numerous corporate and municipal clients throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania and has served as Solicitor to Jessup Borough, Scott Township, Lackawanna Sheriff's Office, Lackawanna County Tax Claim Bureau, the Lakeland School District, and several other municipal and corporate entities.   Attorney Fanucci has also been the Solicitor to the Valley View School District since 1992.

 

Attorney Fanucci is a licensed Pennsylvania Title Insurance Agent for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company and actively volunteers to represent indigent clients through Northeastern Pennsylvania pro bono services.  In the year 2000 he was honored by the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Lackawanna Bar Association with their Equal Access to Justice Awards for his outstanding service to indigent clients.

 

He is a past President of Broadway Theater of Northeastern Pennsylvania and had served on its Board of Directors for many years. He is a current and past member of many other civic and social organizations, including UNICO National.
